May 3, 2025 — Renowned educator and emerging literary voice Parvinder Negi, writing under the pen name Pamie Sandhu, is all set to unveil her debut poetry collection, Unfathomed Secrets, on May 11, 2025. The launch marks a deeply personal and artistic milestone for the poet, who describes the book as the culmination of years of emotional reflection and poetic growth.
What makes this collection truly unique is its cover—a beautifully detailed cross-stitch painting handcrafted by Pamie herself over four decades ago. This cherished piece of art, which took an entire year to complete, has now found new meaning as the visual representation of her literary voice.
“I never imagined that something I stitched with patience and love forty years ago would one day become the cover of my first book,” Pamie shared, moved by the moment. “Unfathomed Secrets is not just a collection of poems; it’s a journey of self-discovery, healing, and finding beauty in both silence and words.”
Described as a poetic tapestry rich with emotion, sensitivity, and layered thought, the collection invites readers into the inner world of a poet who has found harmony between art and introspection. Each poem serves as a soulful reflection of love, life, and the human condition.
Pamie has expressed her heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported her journey—friends, family, fellow writers, and readers who encouraged her to pursue her literary dreams. With this debut, she steps into the literary spotlight with a voice that is as gentle as it is powerful, and with verses that promise to leave a lasting emotional impact.
Unfathomed Secrets will soon be available in both print and digital formats, allowing readers worldwide to immerse themselves in Pamie Sandhu’s evocative poetry.
Born and raised in the vibrant coastal city of Mombasa, Kenya, Parvinder Negi has spent much of her life shaping young minds as a respected principal in senior secondary schools across India, and through her charitable work in British schools in the UK. Her exceptional contributions to education earned her a prestigious national award from NCERT, New Delhi, recognizing her innovations in creating accessible teaching tools for both teachers and students.
Parvinder's poetic journey took a transformative turn during a visit to Dove Cottage—the historic home of William Wordsworth—in the scenic Lake District of the UK. Surrounded by the legacy of one of the world’s most revered poets, she felt a profound awakening of her own poetic calling.
In 2022, her work gained national recognition when she was honored at a major poetry contest in India, selected among over 2,000 poets for her exceptional verse. Since then, her poetry has crossed borders, appearing in acclaimed international anthologies such as:
Poets from the World (Turkey)
World Contemporary Poets – Volume 2
The Women – Global Poetic Gems, featuring 35 renowned international poets
Her contributions have earned her several honors, including:
Ambassador for Peace in the World Poetic Fraternity
Global Peace Ambassador Award
Literary Ambassador Award
Honorary Doctorate in Literature
Membership with ICAL and other international literary associations
Parvinder’s poetry, often described as “music to the heart,” captures the full spectrum of human emotions—from joy and love to sorrow and resilience—through diverse styles and themes. Her work has drawn praise from literary reviewers and scholars, including those affiliated with Harvard University.
Beyond her solo work, she has collaborated on poetic duets with poets from around the world, participated in global live recitations, and received accolades in international literary forums. She also translated the historical chronicle Prekazi Brezni Trimash: HE IS ALIVE by Dibran Fylli from Kosovo into Punjabi, contributing to cross-cultural literary exchange.
With Unfathomed Secrets, Parvinder Negi invites the world to experience poetry that bridges generations, geographies, and hearts—an offering as timeless as the art on its cover.
