Kathmandu- Tejendra Sharma Poudel, Senior Tourism Entrepreneur and Social Worker has been nominated as Senior Advisor to UN PKFC (Asia Pacific Region). He was nominated to the organization for the purpose of contributing to the development of human services, social development and tourism in the Asia-Pacific region. UN PKFC works for humanity, social development & peace keeping. 
Poudel has a long experience of tourism. At the same time, he is  equally active in social service. He is a  chairman of village Tourism-Nepal (VITON), member of Asian Nepal Holiday Pvt. Ltd., Across World Travels Pvt. And is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Village Stake.
Just a few weeks ago, he was awarded the Consular Certificate by the Royal Family of Ukraine and the Imperial Royal House. 
Speaking to Rajyadainik after his appointment, Poudel said that UNPKFC-HQ Thailand chief Dr Aphinita Chaichana is a person who loves Nepal very much.Also he expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Chachna.
Who is Tejendra Sharma Poudel ?
Tejendra Sharma Poudel is a reputed tourism entrepreneur of Nepal. He has been active in this field for the past 30 years. He was born in 2030 BS at Aruchaur in the former parbat district  (now Aruchaur is included in Syangja). His father's name is Hem Sharma Poudel and mother's name is Hem Kumari Poudel. Poudel is a graduate of the Faculty of Humanities from Trichandra College under Tribhuvan University.
Poudel is considered to be an outspoken speaker. Hockey temperament and fearlessness are his strong points. A close family member of former Prime Minister Surya Bahadur Thapa, he is equally close to Nepal's royal shah family and the Rana family. However, he wants to introduce himself as an independent thinker and nationalist rather than connected. He considers his father as his role model. He says that he bows down to the hard work of his father who works in a military hospital.
