Lions Club Serving the Nature.
With the advancement of time and so called development of the places,we humans have almost forgotten the very important part which is called 'Nature'.Floods, landslides, drought, hunger, thirst and so on are due to the ignorance of humans towards nature. It is well known that when we care something then it gives us so many things and out there always lies the satisfaction of the performance whether its a try or after success.
So to save our mother nature,LCK Nepal Pavilion-"Serving the mates" have been always trying to reach the needy sector whether its a nature, humans or even animals.
We breathe on our atmosphere where lies the oxygen to breathe and so forth when its manipulated towards pollution we breathe polluted air resulting the worst so called Pandemic diseases. The existence of survival is impossible without inhaling oxygen. Trees produces oxygen into our atmosphere. So, maximization of oxygen level in the air is always due to maximum number of Tree plantation which guarantees the supply of oxygen that never ends and helps to demolish natural calamities and diseases. Greenery makes the environment beautiful and clean. Living being gets foods and fruits from trees.
Keeping those things on mind and moving towards the great Lionism , on Saturday, 3rd July, 2021 Lions Club of Kathmandu Nepal Pavilion have had an effort to save greenery. We planted 500 Serbs of fruits at Lubhu Aaru Boat, Karyabinayak Ganesh Mandir hill, Ward no 9. This was the place where enormous fire took place in recent summer affecting the environment of whole Kathmandu,Lalitpur and Bhaktapur valley. So many animals living in this forest died due to suffocation and burning.Smokes in the air were quite common throughout those period when the forest fire took place.
The program was inaugurated in the presence of local government head;Ward Chief along with Forest Ranger, the honorable residents and the Lions team- Lions Club of Kathmandu Nepal Pavilion. All together around 31 people had participated to plant maximum number of trees in a day despite of difficulty at this stiff hills and heavy rainfall. Going forth the team will be inspecting every alternate month at the place of tree plantation.
Lastly, club thanks all of the team members of Lions Club of Kathmandu Nepal Pavilion who were involved in this social service program where afforestation program was successfully held.Lets build the nature and lets make our mother nature proud of her humans where they live.
