UAE, Non-Resident Nepali Association NRNA UAE, and Nepal Association have merged. Both organizations have succeeded in giving a positive message to the non-resident Nepalis around the world by holding their annual gathering. NRNA Middle East Coordinator Manoj Gorkhali, Nepali People's Progressive Forum UAE President Baburam Bishwakarma, Nepali Public Relations Committee UAE Chairman Bhavani Prasad Timalsina, NRNA UAE Past President and Chief Patron Ramesh Shrestha, NRNA UAE President Thakur Prasad Dhungana and others took the initiative to unite the two organizations.
The joint annual meeting also elected a 43-member working committee for the upcoming tenure under the leadership of NRNA UAE President Thakur Prasad Dhungana. This unity meeting has also forced NRNA ICC to think about unity. Ramesh Shrestha has been appointed as the chief guardian of the newly formed working committee and Baburam Bishwakarma, Bhuwani Prasad Timalsina, Tak Gurung, Pramod Shrestha, Shashi Silwal and Meghraj Sapkota have been appointed as advisors. Similarly, Pasang Sherpa was elected as senior vice president, Niranjan Silwal, Vikas Shahi, Madan Adhikari, Sujan Sapkota, Shobha Sharma, Ramesh Dhakal, Keshav Nepal, Manoj Kumar Saiju and Krishna Thakur as vice presidents, while Sonam Shrestha was elected as female vice president. Similarly, Deepak Khadka has been elected as the general secretary, Pushkar Sapkota, Tara Bahadur Bohra, Suman Parajuli, Birendra Nakarmi, Munna SamsulHaque, Nirajan Khatri and Bhun Bahadur Bhujel 'Suren' as the secretary, Bishnulal Shrestha as the treasurer and Ramesh Gautam and Prakas Thapa as the co-treasurers.
Similarly, Bhim Malla Thakuri has been elected as the youth coordinator, Apil Bhattarai as the youth co-coordinator and Manju Malla as the women coordinator. Janak Parajuli, Sumi Gahatraj, Binod Basnet, Krish Sunar,Tulsi Ram Bhusal, Navraj Shrestha, Ishwar Shrestha, Bikram Tamang, Prem BahadurShahi, Shailendra Khadka, Ashok KC, Sunil Katuwal, Jeevansingh Thakuri, Kiran Kumar Rai and Elina Phuyanal have been selected as central members. Acting Ambassador of the Nepali Embassy Vishal Bhattarai praised the work done by NRNAUAE in the program and said that this unity has made the embassy more comfortable and will continue to cooperate in the future.
NRNA Vice President Dharmaraj Adhikari expressed his happiness to the newly elected working committee saying that he is very happy that the two organizations have united. He said that he has a very close relationship with the NCC as he has also started a business in the UAE and said that he is confident that the newly appointed chairman Dhungana will do a lot of work. NRNA ICC Vice President Rajendra Kumar (RK) Sharma said that the unity between NRNA UAE and Nepal Association has sent a message of unity to non-resident Nepalis all over the world. He apologized if he could not attend the event and said that ICC also needs to learn from the unity meeting held in UAE on social media and said that now we all have no choice but to move forward as one.

He wished the newly elected working committee a successful tenure and said that he will always be a supporter of the organization. Stating that the unity of the two organizations was possible after a long effort, the newly elected president Dhungana said that in the days to come, he will move forward with all those involved in the NRNA campaign. He said - 'We express our commitment to carry out the responsibility that has been entrusted to us.'
